Mark Singer, CFP®
Author Mark Singer, CFP® has been recognized for his vision and creativity within the world of financial planning. He is the author of 2 books, and the most recent, The Six Secrets to a Happy Retirement, is available on Amazon.com. Drawing upon his over two decades as a founder of one of the leading retirement firms in Boston, the book profiles the financial, emotional, and physical issues associated with the transition into retirement.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and the president of Safe Harbor Retirement Planning, Mark has been the Retirement Guide to thousands of investors since 1986. Mark's approach is to focus on each individual client and ask the questions that other advisors, and investors, simply don't ask. This allows Mark to make the best decisions for each client's unique situation.
As a Retirement Guide, Mark works closely with his clients throughout all stages of retirement planning. One of the unique aspects of his relationship with his clients is his comprehensive approach to planning. To address the needs of his clients, Mark has created the Retirement Roadmap and the Financial Organizer System, both of which contribute to a solution to one of their greatest concerns: How do I take care of my family now, and later when I am gone. These systems have become a primary resource for the families who work with Mark’s firm.
Mark is a member of SOFA, the Society for Financial Awareness. The Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA) has a mission to end financial illiteracy across America. SOFA members like me “share the word” - educating, inspiring, and coaching the people in our community about financial wellness. I can present workshops to companies, places of worship, service organizations, non-profits, clubs, groups, and other associations.
Mark is a frequent speaker and has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, ABCNews.com, FoxNews.com, and Bloomberg Radio, as well as locally (Boston) on NECN and WRKO.
